Wimmer Siding, Windows & Roofing was started more than 35 years ago by Gerald and Judy Wimmer of Welcome, NC. After being diagnosed with cancer in early 2016, Gerald decided to sell the business that he and his wife had built from the ground up. 

In March of 2016, Joel and Colleen Foster became the new owners. As a nod to the Wimmer's, Joel and Colleen continue to keep the family-friendly atmosphere that everyone has come to love and respect from the Wimmer's.

Coming from a family with extensive history in the windows, siding and roofing business, Joel and Colleen were destined for success in this arena. Joel's family started in the storm door and windows business in Lexington, NC and transitioned into the vinyl business in the greater Triad area. 

After years of working for his family, Joel joined the team at Deere-Hitachi as a welder and later became Production Supervisor. Over an extended period of time working with the Wimmer's - they began discussing the possibility of Joel purchasing the business one day.

Today, the Foster's continue to build excellence in the community and look forward to working with you.
